Ingredients
1 slice bread
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1 tbsp butter
1/4 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, cherries, pomegranate seeds)
2 tbsp Greek yogurt or cream cheese
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
Directions
- Whisk together egg and milk in a bowl.
- Dip the bread into the egg mixture, ensuring it is soaked on both sides.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the soaked bread for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
- Spread Greek yogurt or cream cheese on the French toast.
- Top with mixed berries and pomegranate seeds.
- Drizzle with honey or maple syrup if desired.
- Serve immediately.
